Biblica works in 55 countries in six regions around the world, translating, publishing and engaging people in Scriptures, shining the light of God’s Word in a dark and needy world. From the beginning of a Bible translation to the privilege of handing it to someone for their spiritual formation, think of the impact we can have for the Kingdom of God!

Sub-Saharan Africa has some of the deepest poverty, highest HIV/AIDS rates, and lowest life expectancies in the world. Although the Church has grown rapidly in many regions, resource-poor churches lack the ability to reach children living in poverty, save teens from the risk of HIV infection, engage the lost with the gospel, or minister to the unemployed and those in prison. Also threatening the Church’s growth is the spread of Islam and resurgence of animistic religions.

Biblica Africa serves the African Church by partnering with local churches and ministries to provide the Bible and biblical resources in vernacular languages. With your help, this year we will reach children and adults in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zimbabwe and will continue work on 10 Bible translations.

Ministry Goal: Biblica Africa serves the Church in Africa by providing God’s Word and biblical resources to transform people’s lives. This year, with your help, we will reach 763,720 children and adults in 11 nations with the life-transforming power of the gospel.

Prayer Touch Point: Pray for resources so we may successfully bring the gospel to the people of Africa through these programs.
